Barsi Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Rara Sahib Wale 2004



Each year in remembrance of Maharaj Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Rara Sahib Wale, Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji and Sant Baba Mohan Singh Ji celebrate a Barsi. The aim of the Barsi is to encourage Sikhs from around the world to pay tribute to Maharaj Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji and leave Gurudwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar with mutual respect and devotion for the life of Maharaj Ji Rara Sahib Wale.
Each year the Barsi witnesses 700,000 to 1 million people from all over the world, who come to pay tribute and listen to the amazing kirtan, which runs throughout the night. Without fail 70-100 various Sants, Including the Samprda’s of Nanaksar and Damdami Taksal attend the Barsi out of pure respect for Maharaj Ji Rara Sahib Wale. The year 2004 witnessed Baba Ji sit on the stage during the barsi throughout the entire night. Baba Ji sat on the stage legs crossed for 9 hours without hesitation. Astonishingly the sangat all sat in Guru Ji’s hazuri without sleeping for the entire night. From 10am to 10am the following day kirtan runs throughout the Gurudwara with regards to the life of Maharaj Ji Rara Sahib Wale.
he sangat carry out various elements of sewa in their own passion and love for Sikhi. Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s blessing ensures all personalities leave the Gurudwara with emotion, love and dispense for Sikhi. It is almost certainly apparent that the sangat feel the spiritual presence of Maharaj Ji Rara Sahib Wale.
