Tour of Melbourne, Australia December 2008

With the blessing of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji visited Melbourne, Australia in December 2008. Baba Ji arrived in Australia and was greeted by a large number of people from various parts of the country who all welcomed Baba Ji with flowers and Boleh So Nihaal De Jikareh.

Sangat from all over the world joined Baba Ji to carry out a 10 day tour in continuance of the principle given to us by Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji; Aap Japo Avra Naam Japavo

After numerous requests by the Sangat and committees of the Gurdwara Sahibs situated around the Melbourne area, a number of Kirtan Darbars were held each day at several Gurdwara Sahibs. Each day saw an increasing amount of Sangat flourishing into the Gurdwara Sahibs to listen to the teaching of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

Baba Ji congratulated all the Sangat for coming together throughout such an eventful year for Sikhs around the globe in celebration of the 300th Gurta Gurgaddi celebrations. Baba Ji stated to all Australian Sangat that if ever there was a need for somebody to uplift the souls of fellow Gursikhs all faith should be vested into Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. During the time Baba Ji wasn’t performing Kirtan the majority of daily hours were spent travelling across Melbourne, visiting houses in which the Sangat had requested Baba Ji to visit. By the daily following of Sangat in range 10-15 cars at all times, it was clear Baba Ji had won the hearts of the Australian Sangat.

Following the final Kirtan Darbar Baba Ji was presented with a Siropa from the Gurdwara Sahibs, to illustrate the appreciation by the Australian Sangat. The Gurdwara Sahibs and hundreds of members of sangat thanked Baba Ji for visiting and stated they would welcome back Baba Ji at any time.

Baba Ji stated that the Australia Tour could not have been carried out without the Blessing of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji our everlasting Guru.
